John has visited around 1000 campsites and small businesses nationally offering
advice and mentoring on business related matters. He has experience in finance,
accounting, taxation, business planning, exporting & international tourism,
and a thorough understanding of their impact on group accommodation tourism
businesses.
John has offered consulting and advisory services to many companies involved
in export and international trade.
He has considerable experience in many countries including Japan, Malaysia,
Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Indonesia, Canada & USA.
Prior to setting up Bass International in 1992 John was General Manager
of Kookaburra Sport for 15 years. Kookaburra Sport is a significant international
manufacturer and marketer of several leading brands of sporting products
and exports to some 25 countries.
John is an experienced trainer and lectured in Business Management &
International Trade at local and international Tertiary organizations and
Adult Training Organisations.
He was previously the National Treasurer and National Vice President of
the Australian Institute of Company Directors |

For
sixteen years Don was the Executive Officer of the Camping Association
of Victoria Inc. He has advised numerous members in that time and provided
consultancy and training on business management, accreditation, tourism,
marketing, database management and group accommodation developments.
In addition, Don has provided association and management expertise to
other state and national organisations in the tourism and education fields.
During this period Don also created and published resource material and
conducted numerous workshops and training courses.
Don has considerable experience in many countries including Russia, Japan,
USA, Canada as a member of the executive of the International Camping
Fellowship.
Don has also been a secondary teacher for 15 years and was a trainer of
adults with the national training team of the Scout Association leading
the Victorian Training Team at that time. He has served on many volunteer
committees.
Don was the Chair of the International Camping Congress which was held
in Melbourne in January 2003.
